Religious Education in the Senior Years

In the senior years, students continue to be invited to embrace a faith that transforms their world in life-giving ways. In the Senior Years (Years 10-12) this call for a synthesis of culture, faith and life takes on a particular character and significance. Students in these years often have a deepening sense of personal identity and spirituality which contribute to the search for meaning and the ongoing renewal and transformation.

Senior students are offered a wide range of experiences within the religious life of the school, and this includes learning in Religious Education for all students.

SACE offers the platform for the delivery of Religious Education in Catholic schools and the mandated RE content is outlined by the Crossways curriculum.

This is expanded upon in the Senior Year Religious Education Guidelines which are being reviewed during 2021.
