Families are the first educators of their child’s sexuality.
Prior to the commencement of teaching the MITIOG curriculum, parents/carers must be informed.
Class relationships are very important. All teachers are required to have taught the students in the class for at least one term before teaching the MITIOG curriculum.
Introduction to MITIOG Training is mandated for all teachers before teaching this curriculum.
Teachers are required to be familiar with the Catholic Church Teaching regarding human sexuality and respectful relationships.
ALL CESA schools have an appointed MITIOG Key Teacher to support families and teachers.
